4000 Americans dead in Iraq, Football

The number of Americans sodiers dead in Iraq is growing up. It's nearly 2 dead per day. But for the other side, it's nearly 450 dead per day. In 2158, there will be no more iraki. But, Bush want to continue this war in Iraq, this situation will be modifie, maybe, it depend of the future US president. We'll see.

Otherwise, the French team of football won against the England team, 1-0. It was a beautiful match but there was a lot of suspense.

This is my last message, the end of TheMegaMegaBlog. It was very difficult to write message every week or to find subjects.

The Hunting Party

Last week I saw a movie named "The Hunting Party". It's a movie with Richard Gere, Terrence Howard and also during ten minutes, Diane Kruger. It's a movie directed by Richard Shepard.

The movie take place in Serbia, during the Bosnian war. The most famous actor is Slobodan Milošević former president of Serbia. There is also Radovan Karadžić who was the former president of the Republika Srpska which is a political entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are both criminal and even if Slobodan Milošević was arrested and judged, and dead now, Radovan Karadžić is hidden and still free. The movie talk about him.

So at the beginning, we have two journalists, war journalists, one speak it's Simon played by Richard Gere. The other is a cameraman, Duck played by Terrence Howard. But Simon do some critics about NATO, ONU, etc... who do nothing to protect citizens. He's sick about war because he see a lot of horrible things. So he's fired and he work for Jamaican TV to earn some money.

Few years later, after the war, Simon and Duck meet again in Serbska and Simon say to Duck that he know where is "The Fox" which is the nickname of Radovan Karadžić. In the movie they take another name for him. They give him this nickname because he like to kill foxes during hunting.

So Duck who is with a student who is the son of Duck's boss, accept to interview him. The student is Benjamin who is also agree to accompagn them. Simon reveal his true idea later, he want to capture "The Fox", not for the money, but during the war, Simon was in love with a girl, and that girl died because of Radovan Karadžić.

"The Fox" is research by ONU, NATO, CIA, INTERPOL, etc... and there are inhabitants who protect him because there admired him, even if there is five million on his head.

With the help of a local policeman, they find him, but the CIA come and they can't catch him. They understand that nobody want to arrest him. The CIA want to sent them in USA, the policeman who help them is transfer in Africa, the local police doesn't have the list of wanted men, etc... All this element are true according to the director film.

It's an american movie, so there is an happy end. Simon, Duck and Benjamin arrested him, but it's just fiction at this part.

I liked this movie, because I discover this story and it was interesting. It's a good movie.

Municipal elections

This week-end, it's the municipal elections. In my town, there is just one list, with the actual mayor. So he's sure to be reelected. So this week-end, I will vote, even if he's sure to be the next mayor.

Africa Cup of Nations

Last sunday, it was the final of the African Cup of Nations. They were
16 teams in this competition, and it was organised in Ghana. The team of Ghana, at the end of the competition finished third. They beat the team of
Côte d'Ivoire in semi-final, but the population of Ghana continued to have interest about this cup.
The final was played between Egypt and Cameroon. They were a lot of fans for each teams. This match was diffused in France 2, that's why I watched it.
Finally, Egypt won, 1-0, and that was a good thing, because for this final, I supported the Egypt team.

Happy new year to you. In 2008 we have to continue to do a blog. So i continue, but I'm still not very inspired.
A student who are 10 years in Mexico, wouldn't to go to school. So he used glue with his hand and part of his bed to stay at home and continue his holiday. But finally, his mother called emergency and the child return to school.

As you see, I'm not very inspired.

Guiness Book

Guiness book 2008 arrive. It's the third book the most bought in the world, after the Bible and the Coran !
I don't know why people buy this book, because there are a lot of things which are totally useless, and sometimes not very funny. I didn't buy a guiness book anyway.

It's very difficult for me to find an interesting subject, so sorry about that.

La Noche De Los Girasoles

Last week, I saw a movie called "La Noche De Los Girasoles". It's a spanish movie with Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo as director. I didn't know this director before, and he don't make a lot of movies.

I like this movie. It was 9 times nominated, and won 5 of these nominations.

There are several characters all important for the story. The movie contain several episodes in fact, and each episode have a main character. And all these characters meet each other (not ever with pleasure).

Great movie.
